make-up Last one!!!

I am finally one my last make up blog, and lest blog i will hopfuly ever have to write!!!! My weekend was pretty good. I started out by winning a district championship, that kicked it off really well. After our game our coach baught us all greaters ice cream and gave us no limit on what to get. After I got back i hurried up and showered so I could take the top off of my jeep and go out to see my grandpa (sheriff Karnes, who has cancer) so I could show him our districts medal. He takes so much pride in his grandkids' sports. I kind of wanted to cry when I saw him because just they way he talked and sounded when he talked, made him sound better than when he first started chemo. He's going to get through it, hes a hard headed, strong man! after that I went to see my boyfriend. We started to watch a movie and I got bored with it so i made him go to my aunts with my to see my little cousin santino. We suprised him! He was so excited to see us. He's 4 and my boyfriends name is D.J. and Santino calls him E.J. so cute! well since it was going to rai, D.J. and I tried to put the top back on the jeep in the dark. Oh did i mention I have never taken the top off or put it back on before? Well it took like an houre and come ti find out i still got it wrong!! I know how to fo it now though. Sunday  i woke up and played baseball with santino. I couldnt stay long because I had a choir concert. It was amazing and everyone sounded amazing!! Later I took my brother and we got "Spoon me" the new place at stoneridge. I recomend it! it is really good! Well im happy to say this is my last blog...... ever!!!!!! so byeeeeee :)

Make-up District Champs!!!!

So this weekend our softball team became district champs! We had a very good tournament pull. We were ranked 2nd and the top few teams get to pick their region and we are in the Northern region. Our first tournament game we had a bye, the second we run rulled Doublin Sciota. The next game we got out of school early to play Upper Arlington and got 4 innings in befor they called the game for the field being too muddy to play on. We finished the game last friday and ended up runrulling Upper Arlington as well. Saturday we the championship game. We Played Delaware Heys and beat them 7-6. We had a 6 run lead on them before they started to score. We played 4 innings of solid defence before we made errors. It was so close but our pitcher and catcher helped pull off the win! Good job Becca and Brandis!!! <3 Wednesday we play on The OSU softball field and i cant wait! if we make it past regionals and go to states, we play in Akron where the major leauge softball players play, and yes there is major league softball. this is a whole new expierience and could be a once in a life time expierience but im planning on makeing it there next year and work my butt of to become the starting pitcher.

Make-up Orson Wells

So i gotta say my favorite book we have read this year other than mocking bird was Orson Wells. Idk why but I was always so excited to read it! I cant wait for english call tomorrow because we start watching the video. I hate reading and I always like the videos better than the book. I gotta say i really cant wait for school to be out because i am so sick of waking up so early!!!! Travel softball starts in 3 weeks and we are going out of town for our first tournament. I love staying in hotels with the team. We always clown around and we always have fun! We are seriously like one big family. We bond real well. This summer I'm also going to Holden Beach like we do every year. It's a private beach in North Carolina and our whole family has been going since my mom and aunts were little kids. I also plan on going out to West Jefferson to visit my family and see my boy friend who lives out there. I really cant wait for my sophomore year to me over with. I honesly feel its been the worst year of school so far out of all my years. I cant wait to start looking at colleges and getting to be called and actually "upperclassman." Thats another thing I can do this summer. Colleges can start talking to me. I want to pplay softball in college, so there are some tournaments we go to where colleges scout majorly and they can come talk to us, so hopfuly that helps me! 2 down 2 to go!

make-up: wow!!!

WOW i have like 4 blogs to make up ugggh!!! i hate this stupid blog u dont understand!!! Mr. Potter I would honestly much rather write my "blog" instead of type it. for 1 i am much faster at writing than i am typing and 2 i feel its more convienient (spelling???) I dont always have a computer around me 24/7 but there is always paper some where. I do most of my homework in study hall so if i was to do my blog in study hall i would have to take the time to get a pass from another teacher to go to the library and then go to study hall wait untill they call for passes, go to the library then log on to the computer which takes forever and then finally write my blog. they also dont let u back out of the library once you have gone in so that would just screw everything up even more. Instead i could just grab a paper and write away. which sounds easier?? Wow do i complain a lot. i need to work on that. well I  have 3 more make-up blogs to write so im sadly going to have this one come to an end :)

Happy Easter!

This weekend was pretty good. It started out by me riding with the Varsity team to the Symmes Valley softball tournament. The drive was about 3 1/2 hours. We showed up at our school at 8 a.m. and we all slep for the whole ride. We showed up in our motel and were told we had to be back to the bus in 15 min to leave for the fields. We got in the room and it smelled funky. But we got the the fields and all of the games were pushed back from the rain. We played only 2 1/2 innings in the whole tournament untill it got rained out. We stayed the night in our motel and it stormed all night. The Motels shower had brown water and mold everywhere! We left Saturday morning and we all slep the whole way home. When I got home i showered and went to see my boyfriend :) We wantsed the Hangover and Step Brothers, 2 of the best movies ever. I stayed the night at my aunts house with my cousins, Brandon and Gunnar and my brother stayed too. Easter Morning my aunt and cousins, brother and uncle met our other cousins and aunts and uncles for lunch. It was really good but my brother was annoying me so I left with my mom and we sent Tanner with my cousins. I got to hid the easter eggs for us and then my mom and i layed on the couch to watch the Sound of Music. I fell asleep and woke up when everyone got there to play with my 4 year old cousin and hang out with my family. It was a pretty good weekend. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Why am I so tired? Friday after school I went to Brandis Fishel's signing. She is going to ODU and playing softball for them. After that the varsity team had hitting practice so the JV team got to run. We ran for a swear 3 miles. I ran with Lydia and Rachel so that made it a little better. While we were running we thought it would be a good idea to go from softball to Pickerington to watch the JV baseball game. We were finally done running and had hitting practice in the cages. The varsity team went outside to work the annual Gahanna softball showcase. After we hit we gotg to leave. Rachel and I went to her house to get a GPS and head to Pickerington. They ended up losing once we got there. I guess we are bad luck :(. We went back to gahanna and went to Chipotle. Lydia, Harmony, and I stayed at Rachels house. We thought it would be funny to do the cinnamon challenge so we did. I ended up puking up my chipotle :( Look the video up on youtube. TheGBG4 The Cinnamon Challenge! The next morning we had to weak up early to work the softball showcase :-p we had to untarp the fields which was really messy and got everyone all wet. I rushed to make sure i didnt get a terrible job so I asked to work a table to take the money for people to get in. It ended up being rainy and cold so we had to pick up everything and went home. I layed on the couch and curled up and fell asleep for 2 hours. I went over to Shelby and Megan Lowes house for a softball party and their house is amazing! We stayed there untill midnight and hing out with all the girls. It was so much fun! I slep this morni ng untill noon. I never sleep that long! Today I have been just working outside, pitching and hung out with my brother and some how I'm still so tired!!! I hope it doesnt rain all that much this week. I'm tired of my games gettign rained out. I have one every single day! I also hope the week goes by really fast. This Julius Caesar stuff is a drag. I hate it and can't wait for it to be over with. well I'm probably going to bed soon. Ta ta for now.

Spring Break

Over spring break I went to Tampa, Florida. Now you may be saying oh your so lucky, but it wasnt a normal vacation. I went to play ball! The softball team goes every other year to Florida to play some good softball. Its basicly our spring training. The coavches pick 24 girls to go. In about December my coach told me I was going to be going. I was so excited. The sasturday after school got out we had to be at the 4:30 a.m.! I was so tired, I slep the whole first flight. I roomed with Lydia Kruse, Sarah Seidel, and Hannah Smith. Our room was the best room ever. We all got along and there was never once drama in our room. Our room over looked the bay and it was soo pretty. We sat out on the balcony and saw sting rays just swim in the water. It was amazing! The rest of the day Saterday we went to the pool and played beach volleyball in the sand pit they had at the hotel. Sunday we had practice at 8:30 a.m. till 12. The head and humidity was a huge wake up call. The rest of they day we layed out and chilled. The rest of the week we had practice from 8:30 untill 12. Let me tell you, you had better not of slacked off one bit or we would of been running. At nights we had games. Our coach said we are expected to win, if we dont you better of given it your all. The JV team had 3 games and the varsity had 5. Our first game vs. Port Charlott we got half a game in and it was rained out. we were up by a ton too! The Varsity got half a game in and then it was rained out too. We were all soaked and had to drive 2 hours back soaking wet. JV ended up playing 1 1/2 games and won them. Varsity went 2-1. Thursday they called for heavy rain and huge storms. IT had rained over night way too much for us to practice on the fields. We ended up setting our hitting stations up in the hotel parking lot with wiffel balls.  We would never skip practice. Our game was cancelled that night. That day there was huge storms and a tornado right across the bay and a building collapsed 2 miles away from us. It was kind of scary. We got to go the the mall and chill out. We had been so tired, to just chilled felt amazing. the next Saturday after practice we showerd and chilled out by the pool. Everything was packed in the van on the way back to Ohio, so no one had sunscrean. I layed out for 3 hours and got soo burnt. I came back looking like a burn victom. It was so bad. Although it was an amazing expierience. I would do it again in a heart beat

Love Match

Dear reader,

            In this book “Matched” Cassia is matched with her best friend Xander, who will be her mate for her life. No one expects anyone from the same town to be matched so when they see each other’s face on the screen at their match banquet they are all shocked. They have so many good memories and always have fun together, But Ky also risks so much for her. He teaches her how to write beautiful letters in the dirt and trade stolen poems. In the middle of all of this her grandfather passes, but it was expected. In this Science fiction, love story you will see conflict between Cassia and what she will choose between the law and love. Love is one of the major themes in this story because she loves both boys. This is about a teenage girl choosing between two boys that she loves. She wants to be with both, but she just can’t do that. Teenagers may not know exactly what love it but they have their own definition.

Dear Ky,

            I don’t know if you have gotten the hint but I think I am in love with you. Ever since I saw you show up on my micro card where Xander was supposed to be I can’t stop thinking about you. Every time I’m with Xander I always think about you. When I see you I hope someway our skin touches. I love the feeling of you touching me, especially when your hand is on mine guiding the stick we hold drawing the beautiful letters in the dirt. I love learning more and more about you through the letters you secretly give me. I know if anyone would find out about this we would be in so much trouble. I truly wish I could express how I feel about you out in the open, but I know that’s impossible. It kills me you are not able to be matched, so technically you can’t even like me back.             I haven’t been very good. I have done some terrible things. I hate myself for doing it, but I can’t help it. I have strong feelings for Ky. I have had a crush on you since I met you. I don’t usually read so when I heard we had to do this multi-genre project I wasn’t too excited. Once I got going into the book I had second thoughts, maybe it wasn’t too bad. I really enjoyed this book “matched.” I’m not too into science fiction but this love story, science fiction mixed wasn’t too bad. My favorite genre would have to be love. It’s easy to connect to and I don’t like reading things unless I can connect to them. This science fiction wasn’t too weird and out there, but just enough to make it a little more interesting. I have experienced what Cassia dealt with liking two boys at the same time. It really is hard. Cassia is a smart hard working girl and it can be stressful to deal with those boys. I work, play softball almost like a full time job, go to school and have a boyfriend. It is stressful and I can understand the stress Cassia is under with love. With each genre I learned there are many different ways to reflect on what you read. When I read something I want it to be for a reason. Reflecting on what I read helps me understand the meaning behind the story. I definitely enjoyed this project.

Softball

So I would have to say my biggest achievement was my first no hitter. I was in 7th grade and we went to one of the Westervile schools to play their 7th grade team. I hated to practice but loved to pitch. If i could have one magical power in the world it would be to never be able to practice but be the best ever! Unfortunetly it doesnt work that way. That week I had practiced a lot. I went into that game kinda nervous, but if you want to win you have to have confidence. I was working my butt off. I was one of the 2 girls who played travel ball so the rest I had to work with and be patient. I remeber in that game I felt really good and knew I was doing well. Later in the game I walked my first girl. I was so upset but thought no big deal we will get her out. Sometimes I feel like as a pitcher I have to do all the work. I tend to forget that I have a whole field behind me to back me up. We ended up not getting that girl out that I walked and she scored. I was so upset but I knew it wasnt the end of the game so I was thinking we would be able to get the run back. We ended up not getting that run back. We actually lost that game because of the one batter I walked. I didnt realize I had thrown a no hitter untill we were on the bus and my coach called me up and said "emmalee did you realize you threw a no hitter?" I suddenly went from upset because we lost to some what happy because I threw a no hitter. Even though we lost it was a huge achievement as a pitcher. One great achievement any pitcher wants to over come is to throw a no hitter.
Another great achivement I had wan in 8th grade when I recived the MVP award on my softball team and won the Archie Griffen award for my school all around the same time. To win the Archie Griffen award a coach nominates a player from each 8th grade sports team then the teachers vote on who they think is an over all good student and sport when it comes to athletics and in school.
My last great achievemet I'm going to share was being on the JV gold team as a freshman. In softball no one gets cut from the teams. You either play or you dont. We have 3 teams, JV blue (mostly freshman) JV gold and Varsity. At first I got put on JV blue. I was so upset. The JV gold coach then called me up a couple weeks later and asked me to help out and play for them one game. I got to pitch and hit. After the game the coach said there is no way I am keeping you down on JV blue and he moved me to the JV gold team. It was one of the happiest days ever. now this year I'm working for Varsity.

Short Story, Fabtasy

Once upon a time there was a royal family that lived in this land close to home, where everything was perfect and the princess got everything she wanted. Wait! That’s not how it goes! This royal family lived far, far, far, far, far, far away in the land of Grace. Not everything was perfect and the princess didn’t get everything she wanted. It all started when Prince David met his true love, Princess Emma. They decided to get married, and it all went downhill from there. On the wedding day, Prince David’s father, King Michael casted an evil spell on him. Prince David was always a hard child to raise so to get back at him, King Michael casted a spell on him so once he has a child, they would become evil. The only way to break the spell is if the child goes against Prince David’s wills successfully. Prince David knew about the spell, but couldn’t control it.

Five years passed and King Michael passed, so that made Prince David King. King David and Queen Emma decided to have a baby. They would name her Princess Hannah. Princess Hannah loved to explore and was beautiful with long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes.

(17 years passed). Today is Princess Hannah’s 17^th birthday. Princess Hannah asks “could I please have a birthday pa…”

Before she could finish her question, King David yelled, “Are you crazy? What makes you think you deserve a celebration of your birth? You’re worthless! Now go to your room and clean!”

Princess Hannah refused to go to her room so King David brought out his wand and said as he waved it at her, “Disobey me and you won’t be free, go to your room and grab a broom!”

She was then sent to her room and thought to herself, I won’t be treated like this! I will have a normal life!

At dinner that night Princess Hannah said, “mother, father, the enchanted dance is coming up soon at school, May I g…?”

Again before she could finish King David yelled, “What makes you think toy could go to the enchanted dance where there are boys? You know you are forbidden to talk to any boys until I think you’re mature enough!”

Princess Hannah replied, “yes sir.”

That night she laid in bed and thought about this one boy she had seen abound school, Prince Johnathan. She has always thought he was very handsome. She had never talked to him before because that would be going against her father’s wills. Princess Hannah decided she disagrees with her father, I know I’m mature enough to talk to boys, she thought. The next day she wanted to go outside for some nice fresh air. She went her father and asked, “may I go out to admire the beautiful flowers and get some fresh air?”

He replied, “Well, if you have to, but the guards will take you out.”

                 Princess Hannah was surprised he said yes, but angry he wouldn’t let her go out by herself. Maybe it was she was thinking about disobeying him, the curse was all starting to wear off. When she went out the guards surrounded her. She barely got any fresh air with the guards all breathing on her. She thought of different ways to distract the guards to get away by herself. She tried throwing things at them but none of them budged.

That night she lay in bed. She knew tomorrow night was the enchanted dance; she was not going to stay home. That would be her lucky night where she could actually talk to Prince Johnathan. Knowing the guards stand outside of her bed room doors at night she was going to have to use a magic spell that she was forbidden by father. She was not going to miss out on an amazing night. The next night she lay in bed until she knew her mother and father were asleep. She picked out a beautiful pink, strapless, flow dress with tons of sparkles all over it. Princess Hannah curled her long blond hair and to add an extra touch she put on her diamond necklace and matching ear rings. She grabbed her magic wand and whispered, “Star light, star bright, please take me to this enchanted dance tonight.”

The next think she knew, she was in the middle of the enchanted dance floor dancing with Prince Johnathan. She could not believe it. She had never done something that rebellious before. She started to worry but then she looked into Prince Johnathan’s eyes and suddenly lost all worries. It all felt so magical. Princess Hannah danced the whole night and never left Prince Johnathan’s arms. Right before the spell wore off her lips suddenly hit his. It was all so magical.

The next morning she was as happy as happy could be. She saw her father and he said, “How was your enchanted dance dear?”

Hannah replied really confused, “magical.”

King David said in a sweet voice Princess Hannah had never heard before, “your mother and I are so happy to hear that.”

Princess Hannah thought, could it be, did he really just say that? Did the spell really wear odd?

“We can’t wait to meet Prince Johnathan dear” the king said.

Finally the weekend!

Okay I always forget to do these, so im getting it done tonight! for the past few fridays I have been staying at home and just chillin'. I have had no time to just relax. With softball going on and then Im in a musical coming up, it is just so hard to just sit and just breathe. I have my license now and it feels amazing! haha. The only bad part is that I have to drive my brother everywhere! I have a job now. I work for my pitching coach, who works for Mary Kay and I sit on this hotline and type word for word what this lady says. It takes forever but hey, it gets me some extra money! I have been sick for the past couple days and it seriously needs to go away. That's why I have not been staying awake in english and the other part being I hate mystery and science fiction! I really can't wait for softball season to start. I'm so tired of practicing inside! I need to get out and play an actual real game! It will be here soon before we know it though.
For Valentines day, Im going out to my boyfriends house Sunday and he has 4 wheelers and a bunch of land and we are going to go riding, real romantic I know haha but it's whatever. I love 4 wheeling and I cant seem to do that in Gahanna! Im really excited though!
It is exactly 1 week befor the musical "Guys and Dolls" opens in exactly a week at GLHS :) Im so excited. I play the roll of a Hot Box girl so I sing and dance. Im so excited! well Im tired and I have to catch up on my tv shows so bye bye!

I havent been on here in forever!

I feel like I havent been on here in forever! I dont like the topic Potter gave us so I'll write about my own thing :) I feel the cammas, colons, and semicolons have been very easy so I have been very bored in class lately! So what are we doing next? hopefully something exciting!
This weekend was a drag. I was planning on going to winter formal but it got canceled :( So it didnt go the way i planned, but I made it work :) Rachel, her boyfriend, Harmony, her boyfriend, Lydia, Krystal and I went to Olive Garden. After that we went to Rachel's house and played Wii. It was a lot of fun! I have my license now so I have to cart my brother around everywhere! The good part about that is that my brother had to vaccume my car out today! Haha! Today I had the High School softball clinic and we had to teach little kids hot to hit! sooo fun! :( NOT! Over break I turned 16! My best friend Mark Daniels and I had a huge birthday party. Mark and I have been friends since 6th grade. His uncle is a maneger at the LC and they let us have the A&R Bar for free for a night! We rented a dj and had a bunch of food. We probably were planning this 2 months in advanced. It was a lot of work! We invited about 200 and about 150 showed up. We danced the whole time and it was just a blast! No one was to bring an presents but they were to bring a toy to go to fire fighters for kids. My dad's a fire fighter and he helped us out with that. All the toys filled the whole back end of my mom's expadition! It was great!! People still got us presents. I got a bunch of gift cards and money. My pitching coach works for Mary Kay and she got me some really pretty lip gloss and this perfume that smells amazing!
On my actual birthday I finished my last incar! Then my best friend rachel came over. Then my cousin Brandon and my boyfriend came over and we all saw Little Fockers. It was really good! Then my family all met us at BW3's for dinner. It was really an awesome day! My cousin decided to stay the night so we stayed up forever skyping rachel and playing sing star and just talking. My sweet sixteen was amazing! I loved it!

This is a make up blog becasues I keep forgetting to do them! So this is going to be about my Christmas.
My Christmas was really good for the most part. Christmas eve my brother, sister and dad finished up shopping and went to lunch together. When we got back my grandma Harding was over and we had Christmas with her. I got this really cute vest and shirt and tank top to go with it and a starbucks gift card! I then got ready for church. My mom, brother and I met my grandma and grandpa at church and then went to Brio at Easton for dinner. It was amazing. We do this every year. We also get to open one present on Christmas eve each year from my grandma and grandpa and it's always pj's.
Christmas morning my brother tried to wake me up at 6 and i kicked him out and fell back asleep untill 8. My sister and dad came over and then we opened presents. I got a lot of clothes, a web cam, ipod and jewelry. My sister and dad left and we hung out at home for a while. We all got showered and drove out to my grandma and grandpas. All my mom's side of the family came over to my grandparents house and I got to hang with my new cousins. My aunt got married and it used to just be my brother and me but they came alone and now it made it more fun haveing people to hang out with. It was probably one of the funnest Christmas's ever. I got lots and lots of clothes, uggs, jewlery, and sing star (a really fun ps3 game). This Christmas was pretty awesome!

soo i havent blogged for a while which probably isn't good! This mystery unit is kind of boring to me. I dont really like it and never stay tuned into the stories. I will be happy when it's over and we move on to something else.
I have recently decided I want to be a high school english teacher. i dont know what made me want to do that. I have alwasy wanted to be a teacher, I just didnt know what kind, but it finally clicked, it's going to be english.
Softball conditoning has started and I now dont have any free time. The running killed me at first but I;m getting used to it. This spring break, about 24 softball players get picked to go and play down in Florida. Soo guess what?? I get to go to Florida over spring break, I'm so excited!!
I also am involved in a musical. I'm a Hot Box girl in the musical Guys and Dolls for Gahanna Comunity Theater. I have rehursal 3-4 times a week and I'm so excited. The last rehursal I was at they showed us the wigs the Hot Box girls have to wear and they r short curly bleach blonde wigs. It's going to be so fun!!
Even though the winter is my off season for softball, it's the busiest! I have to put a softball clininc on Sunday I have to help put on at the high school from 1-4. Monday i have softball from 3:10-5:30 and rehursal from 7:00-8. Tuesday I have rehursal from 7-8 and fit a pitching lesson in when ever I can. Wednesday I have softball from 5:30-7. Thursday I have rehurstal from 7-8 and Friday softball from 3:10-5:30. Every day there is something going on and in the middle of all of that im trying to find time to take my final driving test!
